Jimmy Mac's Restaurant

This place is really awesome. Has an old school restaurant feel to it. My wife and I both had sweet tea and we shared some fried pickles. We both got different burgers along with homemade chips. Very delicious! The wait staff was super friendly too! Highly recommend this place!

Came in looking for a good steak & was not disappointed! I got a huge, high quality New York Strip steak cooked perfectly. In my opinion Jimmy Mac's could advertise themselves as a steak house if they wanted to. Service was top notch as well. Kai & Bailey were excellent servers that tag teamed my table & always made sure I had everything I needed. I'm from out of town, but if I'm ever back up this way I know where to get great food with awesome service!

We had a great dinner! The food was so fresh and delicious. I had trout and my husband had shrimp which were both cooked perfectly. Our waitress kept everything full and was responsive to our requests. Jimmie the owner came to talk to us as we finished to make sure everything was good. There was even a musician playing guitar and singing which made the atmosphere even better. Highly recommend!

Ordered dinner to go and it all tasted great, good Blackened fish and stuffed mushrooms. Alfredo was creamy and a huge portion. Went in for breakfast before our train ride with a big group of us, breakfast came out quick and was absolutely fantastic even though they filled up really quickly after we got there. Best grits I've ever had. Actual sirloin in the country fried steak, with good gravy. Fruit cup had a good variety. Tacos were huge. They were out of waffle batter and let us switch to pancakes for the chicken and waffles. Everything was cooked right and our server was great, we will definitely be back again.

When we entered the restaurant, there was a pleasant love performer performing Jim Croce, John Denver and other timeless hits. It really added to the atmosphere. The 16oz ribeye, was probably of Angus quality, we ordered it blackened and medium rare. The steak was juicy, seasoned just right, and the temperate was accurate. It was a good steak. The shrimp po boy, shrimps were battered nicely, the sandwich was very good, though I preferred that the bread be toasted. The elk burger was a hit, cooked to the right temp. The waitresses are all friendly and attentive. Next time I come to Bryson City, Jimmy Mac will definitely be on my list

Checked out Jimmy Mac's for breakfast. They just opened about 2 months ago. The food was great. Biscuits and gravy were amazing. Omelette was really good, I added some sausage gravy to it. Kids love the French toast and pancakes. Scrambled eggs were not a big hit but not a big deal.

I absolutely loved dining here. It was a last minute decision and was incredibly happy we stumbled upon this place. The New Orleans chicken with the loaded mashed potato’s was VERY good. Nice portion size as well. Will be coming back.

I’ve been to this restaurant more times than I can count and it is by far the best restaurant in town and definitely worth the visit! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is so friendly and amazing. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. Everything about this restaurant is to die for!
